Preparing the nails will ensure your work holds up. This is therefore a step not to be taken lightly because if done incorrectly it can be the cause of detachments.
Before preparing your nails, take out your materials and manicure kits. This little tip will allow you to carry out your application directly after preparing your nails.
Here are the essential steps when preparing your nails
Wash your hands thoroughly. Disinfect your hands and those of the person on whom you are performing the application, if necessary, with an antiseptic solution.
Push back cuticles and other dead skin using a wooden stick. If you want to make a nail extension with capsules, the ideal is to select the size before the next steps. You should avoid handling as much as possible once your nails are prepared.
The next step is to roughen the entire surface of the nail. To do this, you can use either a buffing block or a nail file. Remove the filing residue using a nail brush or brush, the nail must be perfectly clean and smooth.
Degrease your nails with cotton wool soaked in cleaner. Apply a Primer or non-acid-primer to facilitate the adhesion of UV Gel, semi-permanent varnish or other, without touching the cuticles.
Your nails are ready, you can apply your base gel, single-phase gel, or base for semi-permanent varnish.
