Do you like taking care of your nails and giving yourself pretty manicures that last for several weeks? Semi-permanent varnish is the ideal solution for those who want to have beautiful nails without going through the beautician or nail technician box. In this article, Maryton nail supply will tell you the steps for applying semi-permanent varnish at home. Just keep reading!
Preparing the nail
Preparing the nail helps to optimize the hold of your semi-permanent varnish. Start by pushing back our cuticles to begin with. Afterwards, we file our nails giving them the desired nail shape! We then polish the top of our nails with a buffing block in order to remove any irregularities that would spoil the application of our pretty varnish. Don’t forget the primer! It allows you to optimize the adhesion of the products that you will apply next.
Applying the base coat
Any semi-permanent installation starts with the application of a base coat. This is an absolutely essential step! So, here we go, place a thin layer on your nails and run your hand under the UV/LED lamp for the indicated time (depending on the type of semi-permanent device used).
Applying semi-permanent varnish to the nails
It’s time to put the colored permanent varnish on the nails. Always use a thin layer, try to apply well and not touch the cuticles. Once the varnish has been deposited, we catalyze! Place your hand under the device and turn it on for one minute. The operation must be repeated a second time, or even a third time for those who have chosen a very light varnish color.
The finish with the top coat
To finalize your semi-permanent application at home, then apply a layer of top coat to your nails and cure for about 1 minute. Finish with degreasing the nails one by one.
With a little practice, you will even go faster and faster and have fun changing the color of your semi-permanent varnishes to stylize your outfits with beautiful colored nails to match your looks. In addition, I recommend investing in some professional manicure sets to care for your nails.
