How to take care of your toenails?

0 4

Cleaning

For good daily hygiene, start by washing your feet and nails with soap and warm water every morning and/or evening. After drying them with a towel, remember to coat them well with cream or Vaseline; this will prevent the appearance of dead skin. A clever tip from Maryton supply: once this evening ritual is finished, put on a pair of socks so that the cream works all night. Guaranteed softness the next morning!

Cutting

Don’t make it too short, otherwise you risk exposing your toes to infections. Cutting straight with scissors prevents ingrown toenails. You can then round off the corners with an electric nail file. Sometimes the surface of the nail is ridged: the buffer and a restorative treatment help to quickly restore a smooth nail, without imperfections. If the sunny days make you want to paint your nails, equip yourself with a toe separator. Don’t forget to apply a base coat to protect your pedicure, before coloring the tips of your feet as you wish.

Maintenance

Our feet require a complete pedicure every two to five weeks. In a beauty salon, the beautician performs a professional scrub and long-lasting hydration right down to the tips of your feet. These regular appointments are also an opportunity to fall for the latest nail art trends. If you suffer from corns or bunions, go to a podiatrist instead.

Don’t hesitate to take advantage of your next visit to the salon to get other pedicure tips. Visible or not, toenails also deserve care throughout the year to be beautiful and healthy!
